Nicole leads the European Multiple Sclerosis franchise for Sanofi Genzyme, working across over 30 countries, with a team of over 500 people, delivering treatments to some 70000 people living with MS. Nicole joined Sanofi Genzyme in 2016, prior to this she worked for Baxter Healthcare as Business Unit Head, enjoying promotion to Managing Director when Baxalta was formed in 2015.
She started her career as a sales representative selling contraceptives to doctors and family planning clinics. Supporting her biochemistry degree with an MBA, Nicole then moved into pharmaceutical marketing where she managed and launched a number of new brands.
Spending some time in strategic planning and commercial development broadened Nicole’s understanding of the business prior to becoming a board director of Schering Health Care. She moved to Bayer in 2007 with the take-over of Schering where she has managed such challenging issues as the appropriate pricing of cancer treatments in the NHS. Nicole worked for Bayer for seven years, latterly as the country head for a new division – Radiology and Interventional Medical care.
